Riverstone Rise is a Devine choice for a Gladstone Couple

GLADSTONE resident Clint Haggett is just one of the many locals who have rushed to snap up their own piece of land at Gladstone’s upcoming $1.4 billion Riverstone Rise community.
Clint and his partner Debbie Ferguson recently became the proud new owners of a homesite at the highly-anticipated master planned community.

The couple attended an exclusive VIP event for Riverstone Rise, where 90 per cent of the first land release at Corimba Village immediately sold out.

“We had been looking for a block of land for months before we heard of Riverstone Rise,” Clint said.
“Most of the blocks we’d seen were overpriced and there was a limited choice in allotment sizes. The house we wanted to build was 25m by 16m and ordinary blocks were just not big enough.”

However, the couple didn’t need to look any further after finding Riverstone Rise.

“We found the whole Riverstone Rise concept very appealing – there was a great range of facilities planned for the site; there was a range of allotment sizes to accommodate different home designs and the location was really convenient,” Clint said.
“I’m a beach person and Riverstone Rise is only a short distance from Tannum Sands and Boyne Island. A great lifestyle is really important for us.”

What really won the couple over was the “community feel” of the development.

They immediately purchased a 758sqm block for $233,000 to build their dream home by Chris Allen Builders, featuring four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a double garage.

Clint said the couple were looking forward to building their new home at the end of the year and enjoying their new life at Riverstone Rise.

Riverstone Rise boasts an idyllic location on the Boyne River just close enough to the Gladstone CBD to enjoy all the amenities and just five minutes from the popular beach community of Tannum Sands.

The community will be built on 496.6ha of land, which includes a proposed employment zone and proposed educational and retail precincts. Over 128ha of the site will be dedicated to reserves, open spaces, parklands and playgrounds. Over 4km of the site borders the Boyne River, providing fantastic views and great recreational opportunities.

Riverstone Rise is conveniently located close to all amenities.

Existing educational facilities in the area include Tannum Sands Primary School, Tannum Sands State High School and St Francis Catholic Primary School.  Recreational opportunities abound, with residents only a 6.5km drive away from the Tannum Sands Beach, 1.5km from the Tannum Sands Country Club and next to the Dennis Park Sports Complex.

Riverstone Rise also has easy access to Gladstone Benaraby Road and the Bruce Highway.
The project is expected to take 15-20 years for completion.
