Gladstone Observer, 21 September, 2015, P.20

Saturday, September 19 marked the grand opening of the Boyne Island river access path at Riverstone Rise.

A short 400m walk from the estate opens up to a spectacular view of the 4km Boyne Island river. Project director Grant Botica said with the riverfront now accessible to residents the estate could cater to a wider variety of people.

“It's been a long time coming, a lot of processes and planning had to go into this project. But I can honestly say in my 30

years of experience in the field - I have never come across a project quite like this.” Live music, a delicacy of hand waited on food platters and a wine and dine experience was offered to all residents of Riverstone Rise and those  involved in the project at the event, The event began at 12noon and finished at 5pm.
